Kat Scrappiness Return Policy

Returning Defective Items

Kat Scrappiness will gladly accept returns and/or exchanges on defective merchandise.  You will need to contact us within 14 days of the receipt of your item and contact us at cs@KatScrappiness.com and include both a description of the defect as well as photographic or video evidence that clearly shows the defect.

If your claim is approved, we will either ask you to keep the item or provide you with a pre-paid shipping label that you can print to return the item to us at NO COST to you.  Your refund will be processed up on receipt of the item and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

**If the defect is not visible you may be required to ship the item back to us for testing. If it is indeed defective, we will happily refund you in full, including reasonable shipping costs. However, if the item is not defective, you will need to pay shipping to get the item back.

Returning Non Defective Items

If your item is not defective and you would like to return or exchange it, your claim must be made within 14 days of the date of receipt of your package and must be unused and in the original packaging.  You will be responsible for the return shipping and shipping for the replacement or exchanged item.

When shipping a return at your own expense, you may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and tracking will help you ensure it's received by us.

Restocking Fee

There is be a 15% restocking fee for non-defective items, unless an item is damaged or defective or was a duplicate purchase made by mistake.  If you have a question about the restocking fee, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Exclusions

The following types of goods are exempt from being returned or exchanged.

  • Pre-Orders
  • Special Orders
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Grab Bags/Boxes
  • Sale or Clearance Items

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
