Most die sets come tabbed and you need die snips to cut them apart. The Kat Scrappiness die snips (also known as side snips) are flat on the back edge, allowing you to get right up against the edge of the die to cut as close as possible. They are super sharp and come with a special tube end for protection.
This is a very sharp tool and should not be used by children or left near them. The metal die snips come with a plastic cover that you may want to keep on the snips in order to protect yourself and others. You should always wear protective eye wear when using these or any die snips to avoid injury.

I bought two of these. The first one I bought for myself after some online research. I was so amazed by how easily I was able to cut my dies apart. The second pair I bought for a friend who kept borrowing mine. I absolutely love the snips. I have recommended them to friends and family.
These die snips are terrific! I already had two small pairs of snips, but they don't cut the metal tabs nearly as well.
It works well. Much easier than my dikes.
I am so glad I bought these snips! They make cutting my dies apart so much easier than the hardware store kind I had. These snips fit in between the dies no matter how close they are and snip the dies apart easily.
These snips were used to cut away those sharp little pieces of metal left when you break apart dies that come connected. They cut really close and prevent the cuts and ****** you get when using dies.
