Most die sets come tabbed and you need die snips to cut them apart. The Kat Scrappiness die snips (also known as side snips) are flat on the back edge, allowing you to get right up against the edge of the die to cut as close as possible. They are super sharp and come with a special tube end for protection.
This is a very sharp tool and should not be used by children or left near them. The metal die snips come with a plastic cover that you may want to keep on the snips in order to protect yourself and others. You should always wear protective eye wear when using these or any die snips to avoid injury.

I love the tin snips I purchased from Kat Scrappiness. They're perfect for those hard to reach spots!!! I would highly recommend purchasing from this site. Great communication & quick shipping! Thank you! Cindy B
I ordered these tin snips after trying to cut my dies apart with scissors and with a small pair of jewelry cutters I had. The tin snips worked great, even cutting the small pieces of wire off closest to the edge of each die quickly and easily. Definitely worth the money spent!
Love my order items. Thank you for affordable and beautiful embellishments and cardstock
The snips work great. It is nice to have the right tool for the job.
These are the best wire snips I've ever used. They get very close so you don't have sharp pieces!
