*These are our new and improved die snips. They are thicker at the ends making them stronger but still thin enough to fit in between dies to cut them apart.
Most die sets come tabbed and you need die snips to cut them apart. The Kat Scrappiness die snips (also known as side snips) are flat on the back edge, allowing you to get right up against the edge of the die to cut as close as possible. They are super sharp and come with a special tube end for protection.
This is a very sharp tool and should not be used by children or left near them. The metal die snips come with a plastic cover that you may want to keep on the snips in order to protect yourself and others. You should always wear protective eye wear when using these or any die snips to avoid injury.

I bought two of these. The first one I bought for myself after some online research. I was so amazed by how easily I was able to cut my dies apart. The second pair I bought for a friend who kept borrowing mine. I absolutely love the snips. I have recommended them to friends and family.
They have worked great with no problems
I was using some mini wire cutters to cut my dies apart (could everywhere just let me pay an extra $2 a kit to send cut dies?) and then I got these and it made a huge difference in how much I was fighting narrow spaces that the other snips couldn’t get into. Love these! I hope they stay fairly sharp for awhile.
These die snips are terrific! I already had two small pairs of snips, but they don't cut the metal tabs nearly as well.
It works well. Much easier than my dikes.
