Hello crafty friends!
I am back with another Sketchy Sunday with fun products from Kat Scrappiness. For today's card, I used the Wok On! stamp set for my inspiration.

Card Details:
- Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5" (A2 size)
- Colored Panel: 4" x 5.25"
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Step 1:
First, I created a mask for the sushi image I wanted to use from the Wok On! set and placed it on my card. I then used a ruler and a pencil to sketch in lines to create chopsticks. I made sure to draw my front chopstick over the mask so I could create a mask for the chopstick for a later step in creating my scene.

Step 2:
Next, I trimmed removed the mask, trimmed out the chopstick portion, and replaced it on the card. I then figured out the placement for the wasabi and stamped it on the panel using black ink.

Step 3:
I then created a mask for the wasabi, placed it over the stamped image, and stamped my sushi.

Step 4:
I removed both masks and sketched in the remaining portion of the chopstick. I then used a round object to trace around it and create a bowl for my soy sauce. I made the bowl offset to the upper left side of the card, but still underneath the sushi/chopsticks to make it look like someone was about to dip the sushi into the bowl. I did all of my sketching with pencil to be able to erase any mistakes.

Step 5:
When I was happy with my sketch, I traced the lines with a black fine line marker and erased the pencil lines.

Step 6:
It is now time to color our scene. I used Prismacolor colored pencils for this step. Specific colors are below:
- Chopsticks: Light Umber, Beige Sienna, and Seashell Pink
- Wasabi: Apple Green, Spring Green, Chartreuse, and Pink
- Sushi: Black, 90% French Grey, Marine Green, Pale Vermilion, Orange, Salmon Pink, Pink, Eggshell, Cream, and White
- Soy Sauce: Black, Dark Umber, and Chocolate
- Bowl: 20% French Grey, 10% French Grey, and White

Step 7:
To create the table under my bowl, I used a blending brush and Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add a layer of brown ink over the whole panel. I got up close/went over some of my coloring and just buffed off the ink with a microfiber cloth. The brown did stain my bowl some, so if you are worried about that, you can create a mask for the bowl. I then used the Kat Scrappiness Wonky Wavy Stitched Rectangles dies (currently unavailable) to cut around my panel. Next, I used a Kat's Crafty Dabber and Walnut Stain Distress Ink to darken the edges of the panel. I also traced the same round object to create a mask so I could add a shadow under the bowl to give it some dimension. I also used colorless water-based marker to pick up some of the Walnut Stain ink to add some shadows under the chopsticks.

Step 8:
Next, I got to work on the sentiment. I used the Thanks Shadow Sentiment die to cut out the word "thanks" from green cardstock and then used a mini blending brush and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to add some dimension to it.

Step 9:
Next, I created a sub-sentiment using the Wok On! stamp set. I picked "you're soy amazing!" and used embossing ink and white detail embossing powder to emboss the sentiment directly on my card panel.

To finish the card, I glued everything to a white A2 card base.
