Hello crafty friends!
I am back with another Sketchy Sunday with fun products from Kat Scrappiness. Today I used the Coffee Quokka stamp set as my focal image for my sketchy scene.

Card Details:
- Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5" (A2 size)
- Colored Panel: 4" x 5.25"
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Step 1:
First, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 4.25" x. 5.5" in size. I then stamped the quokka from the Coffee Quokka set in black ink.

Step 2:
I then began sketching my scene using a pencil. I added a line across the card to serve as a counter top, then sketched in a bag of coffee beans, a mug, some sugar cubes, and a spoon.

Step 3:
When I was satisfied with my sketch, I traced over the lines with a fine tip black marker and then erased the pencil lines.

Step 4:
It is now time to color our scene. I used Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:
- Quokka: Sienna Brown, Mineral Orange, Goldenrod, Black, 90% French Grey, and 70% French Grey
- Coffee/Beans: Dark Umber, Dark Brown, and Chocolate
- Spoon: 50% Cool Grey, 30% Cool Grey, 20% Cool Grey, and 10% Cool Grey
- Mug: Copenhagen Blue, True Blue, Non-Photo Blue, and Metallic Gold
- Sugar Cubes: 20% French Grey, 10% French Grey, and White
- Coffee Bag: Goldenrod, Jasmine, Eggshell, Cream, and White
- Counter: 30% Warm Grey, 20% Warm Grey, 10% Warm Grey, and White

Step 5:
I then trimmed the panel to 4" x 5.25" in size. To create a wall for my scene, I used a blending brush and Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Inks.

Step 6:
For the sentiment, I stamped "Coffee is a hug in a mug" from the Coffee Quokka stamp set. I also die cut "love you" from white cardstock using the Love You Shadow Sentiment craft dies. I glued the die cut sentiment underneath the stamped one.

Step 7:
When I did my ink blending for my wall, I accidentally pulled some of the blue colored pencil in the background. To help mask this some, I added some Sparkling Clear Diamond Jewels around the sentiment and quokka. I love the added sparkle this adds to the card.

To finish the card, I glued my panel to an A2 card base that was made using Kat's Color Studio Premium Cardstock in the color Deep Sea.
