Hello crafty friends!
I am back with another Sketchy Sunday with fun products from Kat Scrappiness. Today I am using the Pirate Quokkas and Pirate Quokkas Sentiments stamp sets for my scene card.

Card Details:
- Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5" (A2 size)
- Colored Panel: 4" x 5.25"
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Step 1:
First, I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5" in size. I like to cut my cardstock larger than my finished size so that I can trim the edges after I am done coloring. I then stamped the two pirates on my panel using black ink. The pirates are from the Pirate Quokkas stamp set.

Step 2:
I then started to sketch in my scene using a pencil. I used a T ruler to help me get some straight lines to make the railing and boards for a pirate ship. At this point, I realized I forgot to stamp a sentiment, so I stamped "Aarrrgh! Means I love you in pirate" using black ink. The sentiment is from the Pirate Quokkas Sentiments set. I also sketched in some clouds in my sky.

Step 3:
When I was satisfied with my sketch, I traced over my lines with a fine tip black marker and erased the pencil lines. I realized I forgot to add water to my scene, so I sketched those in at this point and added a few birds in the sky.

Step 4:
Now it is time to color the scene using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are listed below.
- Quokkas: Sienna Brown, Mineral Orange, Goldenrod, Black, 90% French Grey, and 70% French Grey
- Pirate Hat, Belt, Boots, and Spyglass: Black, 90% Cool Grey, and 70% Cool Grey
- Yellow Elements: Yellowed Orange, Sunburst Yellow, and Canary Yellow
- Red Clothing and Quokka Tongue: Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red
- Green Clothing: Apple Green, Spring Green, and Chartreuse
- Blue Clothing: Indigo Blue, Indanthrone Blue, and Denim Blue
- White Clothing: 20% Warm Grey, 10% Warm Grey, and White
- Sword: 30% Cool Grey, 20% Cool Grey, and 10% Cool Grey
- Clouds: White, Deco Pink, and Cloud Blue
- Water: Cerulean Blue, True Blue, Non-Photo Blue
- Sky and Spyglass Glass: Blue Lake, Carribean Sea, and Sky Blue Light
- Railing and Boards: Dark Umber, Dark Brown, Light Umber, Beige Sienna, and Seashell Pink
- Barrel: Black, 90% French Grey, 70% French Grey, Chocolate, Sienna Brown, and Burnt Ochre

Step 5:
I then trimmed my panel to 4" x 5.25" in size. this helps to clean up the edges after coloring and allows the panel to have a matte when glued to the card base. I then came in with a white gel pen, white paint pen, and Kat Scrappiness Rainbow Glitter Mousse to add some details to the card. I added white highlights on the buckles, pirate hat, spyglass, barrel, and swords using the gel pen. I then used the paint pen to add some white lines in the water to give it some more interest and movement. I used my finger to apply the glitter mousse to the clouds.

To finish the card, I glued the panel to a white A2 card base.
