Who says Halloween has to be all dark and gloomy? This handmade "Trick or Treat" card proves that spooky can be incredibly sweet. By mixing classic Halloween elements with a vibrant pop of pastel pink and playful patterns, you can create a festive greeting card that stands out in any mailbox.
To create the card's background, I layered several different patterned papers from the Spooky Cute Pink 6x6 paper pad. For the main title, I used the Spooky Trick or Treat Shadow Sentiment dies to cut out the lettering in matching colors. I then added white gel pen highlights to the letters and finished the design by embellishing it with a ghost and a few cute pumpkins.

I really like the papers in the this pack of paper and wanted to create a second card!
To start, I cut the polka-dot patterned paper using Kat’s Essential Card Builder Dies 1 and layered it directly onto a bold black card base. Using the inner die pieces from that same set, I cut out the pink spiderweb paper which I laid on top of the black background. Finally, I used the Happy Halloween Shadow Sentiment die to cut the greeting, added hand-drawn white gel pen highlights to the letters, and popped it up in the center of the card using foam tape for extra dimension.
