Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat

For this project, I wanted to capture a festive vibe that is equal parts creepy and cute. Using the Spooky Cute Pink 6x6 paper Pad, I used the light orange icon paper to create the background, framed slightly by black cardstock. Next, I took some Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink and blended all over a piece of white cardstock. On top of the, I used the Hats & Bats 6x6 stencil and ink blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. Using the Stitched Label Frame Nesting dies, I cut out the green piece to layer onto my orange background. To create the sentiment, I cut out a shadow in black and the letters in a light pink using the Spooky Trick or Treat Shadow Sentiment dies. Around the letters, I added some white gel pen highlights and went over each letter with Glossy Accents. Once dry, I popped up the whole sentiment using foam dots. A few strategically scattered Purple Snurple Solid Round Confetti sequins, a ghost, a tiny skull, a pink pumpkin and a spider web cut out of the Spooky Cute Pink 6x6 paper Pad add the perfect touch of magical glitz.

I am thrilled with how all the festive elements came together for this project, and I hope it brings a little inspiration to your seasonal crafting!
