Today, we are sharing a gorgeous autumn-themed project that captures the warm, comforting essence of fall through rich textures, geometric patterns, and beautifully layered die cuts.
The foundation of this card relies heavily on the Falling Leaves 6x6 double sided cardstock. Mixing and matching patterns can sometimes feel daunting, but this project effortlessly balances a variety of patterns, including a bold plaid, a detailed acorn motif, and a playful gingham circle accent.
A rich, deep burgundy cardstock panel acts as the perfect backdrop for the main sentiment. It keeps the busy background patterns from overwhelming the eye. The Give Thanks Shadow sentiment is beautifully die-cut using contrasting autumn tones. The sage green shadow layer makes the vibrant orange script pop right off the card.
To finish off the card, a few strategically placed metallic gold pearls add subtle dimension and a touch of elegance without distracting from the main message.
