Hello crafty friends!
I'm back with another Christmas card featuring the adorable Santa's Helpers! I just love these sweet little elves and all of their cheerful personalities. To showcase several of the images, I paired them with the Stitched Scalloped Collage Frame, which creates the perfect little windows for each festive scene.
The kraft background gives the card a cozy, rustic feel while the bright reds and greens make the elves pop. A little white splatter and a sprinkle of sequins complete the snowy holiday look!
How I Made My Card
- Start with an A2 kraft card base.
- Die cut the Stitched Scalloped Collage Frame from kraft cardstock. For added texture, I embossed the cardstock for the background panels before adhering them behind the frame.
- Stamp the adorable elves and accessories from the Santa's Helpers Stamp Set using a black alcohol marker-friendly ink.
- Color the images with your favorite alcohol markers, using bright holiday reds and greens for a classic Christmas color palette.
- Die cut all of the stamped images using the coordinating Santa's Helpers Dies.
- Arrange the elves inside each window of the collage frame using foam adhesive to add dimension. I placed two elves in the top windows and added the pair of elves in the larger bottom window.
- Stamp the sentiment "I Just Like Smiling, Smiling's My Favorite"
- Add white paint splatter across the card front to create the look of gently falling snow.
- Finish the card by scattering several White Square Confetti Sequins around the design for a little sparkle and extra holiday magic.
This card was so much fun to make, and I love how the collage frame lets each little elf have its own spotlight while still creating one cohesive design. It's a great layout for telling a tiny story and using multiple images from a stamp set without making the card feel crowded.
